Volunteer drivers needed

Volunteer drivers are needed for the - Southern Communities Transport Scheme (SCOTS) based on the Fleurieu.

The scheme provides transport to people who are aged, frail or have a disability to enable them to access services, facilities and social activities.

Transport is provided both locally and into Adelaide.

Drivers would need a current unrestricted driver’s licence and enjoy meeting new people. They would also need to be confident drivers both on local roads and in metropolitan areas.

A driving assessment will be required.

The volunteer job involves driving a car or bus to take clients to health and medical appointments, daily living activities and social activities.

The Scheme operates on weekdays and there will be some training and meetings involved with the role.
