The beauty of the Fleurieu and the talent of local photographers has been recognised with the release of the twenty finalists in the Department of the Environment's Heritage Snaps Photo Competition.
The competition was run statewide but the Fleurieu has featured heavily amongst the images selected in the final 20.
Voting is now open for the People's Choice Award,
Colin Haigh, whose stunning and colourful photos of Goolwa and surrounds regularly feature on ABC social media, is one of the finalists with an entry depicting the Goolwa Wharf at sunrise.
The very talented Nicole Rix of Victor Harbor also made the cut with a beautiful and ethereal image of the majestic Mount Breckan.
The Strathalbyn train station complex is the subject of a well framed, black and white composition submitted by Kaylee Clancy, providing a glimpse into the town's railway history.
Victor Harbor’s Melissa Bean entered ‘Seasons’, a fantastic still reflection of the railway bridge at Watson’s Gap at Port Elliot.

The photo that receives the most votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award.
Only one vote is allowed per person and the closing date is midnight on Sunday 21 November.
