Jasper and Kirsty’s Permaculture Food Garden, known Wander Gather Ponder will be open next weekend under the Open Garden scheme.

The garden, on Aldinga Road at Willunga, will be open on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February from 10am to 4pm

The site is  becoming one of Adelaide’s few Forest Gardens, which doesn’t require external inputs such as fertiliser to thrive. 

Wander Gather Ponder will soon be a self-sustaining forest, with every part of the property used productively.

Examples of limiting waste and upcycling abound and the garden features a year-round supply of fresh produce.

The open garden event will include workshops and demonstrations across the weekend, plus an art exhibition and sale featuring the work of local artists.

There will also be hot and cold food available, live music, craft and pottery.
