Update: Wanted man Billy Hayes arrested

Police arrested wanted man Billy Jaye Hayes overnight.

Just after 8.30pm on Tuesday 6 April, police and Star Group officers, attended a Glandore address where they arrested Hayes without incident.

He has been refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

Western District CIB Detectives are seeking assistance from the public to help locate wanted man Billy Jaye Hayes.

Billy Jaye Hayes is 28 and is currently wanted after he cut off his home detention bracelet. A warrant has also been issued for his arrest regarding an assault.

Hayes is described as 170cm tall with blue eyes and a slim build. He has distinctive facial tattoos with "infamous" across his right eyebrow and ‘Nasty One’ along his right jaw line.

Investigators believe he may have left the Adelaide metropolitan area.

Assistance is sought to help locate Billy Hayes, and if sighted he should not be approached and police should be notified immediately on 131 444.
