Alexandrina Council will take a fresh approach to engaging with its community by establishing a Community Wellbeing Advisory Forum.

It is seeking people who are passionate and motivated about the health and wellbeing of their local community to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) by no later than 13 November.

The forum will involve both meetings and workshops that engage with the community, as outlined in the Community Wellbeing Advisory Forum Terms of Reference.

Council will vote to appoint Elected Member representatives to the forum.

Community representatives will be appointed following an EOI process; as much as possible, Council seeks to ensure that members of advisory groups are representative of the diversity of demographics within the Alexandrina community. 

Their respective board or committee will nominate Community Centre representatives.

The Community Wellbeing Advisory forum will meet quarterly for a 12-month period. 

The Terms of Reference will be reviewed annually. This will also include reviewing the effectiveness of the forum and ensuring that its purpose is being fulfilled.
