Western Districts won their 25th game in a row after a thrilling five-point win against Dudley United during round 14 action in the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) yesterday. Brad Crabb kicked four goals for Western Districts as they won 7.8 (50) to 7.3 (45). Meanwhile Ethan Stoeckel and Sam Willson kicked three goals each for Dudley United. Best players for the Saints included Jack Grimes, Riley Boyle, Crabb, Caleb Whittle and Wade Tucker. Best for the Eagles were Sam Willson, Toby Wheaton, Chris Denholm, Rory Florance and Dylan Bunney.
Wisanger cemented their top-two finish after defeating Kingscote by 75 points. The Panthers won every quarter on their way to a 16.12 (108) to 4.9 (33). Khyal Stead kicked six goals for Wisanger and he was well supported by Luke Shurven (3), Ezra Foster (2) and Timmy Turner (2). Paul Green kicked two goals for Kingscote. Best players for the Panthers included Foster, Jai Turner, Nicholas Berry, Stead and Brodee Williams. The Hounds were best served by Jordan Connell, James Mitchell, Green, Tristian Warren and Rory Lovering.
