Western Districts pile on the goals in KI Football

Western Districts have run up a cricket score after defeating Parndana by 246 points during round 10 action in the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) yesterday. The Saints led by 120 points at halftime, before kicking 19 unanswered goals in the second half to win 36.30 (246) to 0.0 (0). Western Districts had 13 different goalkickers with Bradley Crabb snagging eight goals in a best-on-ground display. Other good players for the Saints included Sam Jonas, Dylan Lockett, Henry Hammat and Jordan Whittle. Best for the Roosters were Colton Trethewey, Trad McMulkin, Shannon Davis, Matthew Kelly and Henry Napier.


Reigning premier Kingscote won their third game of the season after defeating Dudley United by 58 points at Kingscote yesterday. Paul Green kicked three goals in a best-on-ground performance for Kingscote as the Hounds won 12.16 (88) to 4.6 (30). Riley Puckridge (3) and Frank Colman (2) were the other multiple goalkickers for Kingscote, while their better players included Tyson Holman, Rory Lovering, Thomas Mitchell and Declan Hardy-Corby. Best for Dudley United were Tait Florance, Keenan Jacobs, Toby Wheaton, Dylan Bunney and James Crossman.
