Reigning premier Western Districts remain undefeated following their comprehensive 104-point win against Parndana during round 11 action in the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) at Gosse yesterday. The Saints led all day before running out winners 18.10 (118) to 1.8 (14). Lleyton Hedges kicked five goals for the Saints (38 for the season), while Josh Graham kicked three. Ben Xifaras kicked the only goal for Parndana. Caleb Whittle, Nathan Stock, Tim Larcombe, Wade Tucker and Brad Crabb were named best players for Western Districts. Best for the Roosters included Trad McMulkin, Zach Trethewey and Frank May.
Wisanger all but wrapped up the double chance with a comfortable 78-point win against Dudley United. The game was tight at quarter time with Wisanger leading by just seven points. The Panthers kicked into gear after the first break, kicking 14 goals to four, before winning 16.18 (114) to 6.0 (36). Frank Packer was the most dominant forward on the ground with five goals for Wisanger, while Timmy Turner, Luke Stewart and Khyal Stead all kicked two majors. Best players for Wisanger were Dusty Cross, Stewart, Jason Fryar, Packer and Luke Shurven.
