Reigning premier Western Districts are through to the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) Grand Final after defeating Wisanger by 37 points at Kingscote yesterday. The Saints led by 14 points at halftime, before kicking six goals to two in the second half to win 12.6 (78) to 5.11 (41). Saints skipper Lleyton Hedges kicked six goals, while Lloyd Coulson kicked two majors. Best players for Western Districts were Brad Crabb, Wade Tucker, Hedges, Joshua Graham and Nathan Stock. Wisanger was best served by Dusty Cross, Jai Turner, Brok Viney-Obst, Reece Boulden and Liam Sampson.  

Wisanger will now face Kingscote in Saturday’s preliminary final for the right to challenge Western Districts in the Grand Final at Wisanger on the 16th of September. .
