Western Districts won the Kangaroo Island Netball Association ‘A’ grade premiership following a nail-biting 55-54 win over minor premier Kingscote in the Grand Final at Wisanger yesterday. It was the fifth time the two sides had played each other in 2023 with honours even at two wins each plus a drawn match in round 15. It was an amazing last two finals for the Saints after they defeated Parndana by one goal in the preliminary final to make it through to the decider. 

In the other senior grades, Kingscote won the ‘B’ grade and ‘D’ grade, while Western Districts won the ‘C’ grade. In the juniors, Parndana won the under 11’s and under 13’s, while Western Districts made it three premierships on the day with a 30-20 victory in the under 15’s against Wisanger.
