Willunga are through to the Great Southern Football League (GSFL) Grand Final after defeating Myponga-Sellicks by 15 points in the preliminary final at Mount Compass yesterday. The Demons will face-off against local rival McLaren Districts in a rematch of the 2022 Grand Final. Yesterday, Willunga started well to lead by 15 points at quarter time, before the Mudlarks dominated the second term, kicking five goals to two, to lead by four points at the main break. The Demons steadied in the second half with seven goals to four to win 11.10 (76) to 9.7 (61). Daniel Lee kicked three goals for Willunga, while Jake Spinks also kicked three goals for Myponga-Sellicks. Best players for Willunga included Brad Haskett, Sam Renney, Nick Scanlan, Lachlan Scott and Jack Redden. The Mudlarks were best served by Ben Kennedy, Brad Clarke, Sam Kennedy, Levi Proude and Anthony Kempster.
