Willunga bus route listed as SA Health exposure site

A bus route from Port Willunga to Seaford Centre Interchange has been listed as a new casual COVID-19 exposure location across several days of last week. 

 

A person infected with the virus used the bus service on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday last week. The times and segments of the bus service used are listed below.

 

Lonsdale Down South Party Hire on O’Sullivan Beach Road has also been listed as a casual contact exposure site. A person with the virus attended the venue from 9am to 5pm last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

SA Health reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 today.

 

Today’s cases are five children under the age of 18, 11 men aged between 24 and 57, 9 women aged between 20 and 89.

 

Of these, three acquired their infection interstate, one acquired their infection overseas, thirteen acquired their infections in South Australia and are known contacts of a positive case, three acquired their infections in South Australia with the source of their infection currently under investigation, and five cases acquired their infections in Australia with source investigations ongoing.

 

A man in his 30s and a man in his 60s are in the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a stable condition.

 

Testing and regular monitoring continues at the Residential Aged Care facilities across metropolitan Adelaide associated with positive COVID-19 cases reported on 14 December 2021.

 

Residents at 22 facilities have been impacted but SA Health says the exposures were not widespread across the facilities and all test results so far have been negative

If you were at one of the above Casual contact exposure locations at the specified dates and times, you must get tested immediately and quarantine until you receive a negative result.


You must get tested again on day 6 and day 13 and wear a surgical mask when around others at all times.


You must also avoid contact with vulnerable people (elderly, pregnant, young children), avoid non-essential activities where possible, avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing.

 

If you were at any of the above locations, but not at the specified date and time, monitor yourself for symptoms and get tested as soon as symptoms develop.

 

You may not always receive a call, SMS or email from SA Health. You must follow the relevant health advice even if you have not been contacted.

 

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, please seek testing as soon as possible.
