Reynella continued their unbeaten start to the season with a comprehensive 89-point win against Cove during round four action in the Southern Football League Women’s (SFLW) ‘A’ grade competition yesterday. The final scores were Reynella 13.13 (91) to Cove 0.2 (2). Reynella had nine different goalkickers with Morgan Blackwell, Casie Coombe, Emily Woods and Claire Varnham-Harrison all kicking two majors. Best players for the Wine Flies were Dominique Byrne, Blackwell, Madison Bennett, Sarah Bourn and Caitlin Walter. For the Cobras, Lauren Kenny, Dana O’Brien and Rebecca O’Shaughnessy were among their best players.

Flagstaff Hill also remained unbeaten after their 73-point over Aldinga. The Falcons led by 26 points at quarter time, 36 points at halftime and 57 points at the final change before winning 9.19 (73) to 0.0 (0). Bethany Bell, Brooke Kleinig and Melissa Anderson all kicked three goals each for the Falcons. Best players for ‘Flaggies’ were Amber O’Hanlon, Catherine Warren, Jemma Looyestyn, Kimberly Robinson and Charlotte Bayford. Jenna Andrews, Rachel Crockart and Melissa Anderson were among the best players for the Sharks.

Port Noarlunga moved to third spot on the ladder with a huge 161-point win against Hackham. ‘Porties’ dominated all day to kick 23.23 (161) to 0.0 (0). The Cockle Divers had 11 different goalkickers with Samantha Lynch and Kirsty Watson kicking four goals each. Best players for a rampant Port Noarlunga outfit were Kaiya Ivett, Lynch, Brittany Pratt, Madison Harris and Watson, while for the Hawks, Caitlin Haire, Paige Francis and Kaylah Richards were their best players.
