Reynella are through to the Southern Football League (SFL) ‘A’ Grade Women’s Grand Final after an excellent 34-point win against minor premier Christies Beach at Flagstaff Hill yesterday. Reynella led by just 10 points at halftime, before kicking 3.7 to 1.1 in the last quarter to win 5.15 (45) to 1.5 (11). Emily Franklin and Madison Bennett kicked two goals each for the Wine Flies, while Neriah Milis kicked the only goal for Christies Beach. Best players for the Wine Flies included Caitlin Walter, Jessica Redigolo, Franklin, Bennett and Anja Bancevic. Best for the Saints were Melanie Koster, Brina Thompson-Fitzgerald, Kiah Smith, Tallara Power and Naomi Jones.

Reigning premier Flagstaff Hill continued their good recent form as they ended Port Noarlunga’s season with a comfortable 45-point win in the elimination final at Morphett Vale yesterday. ‘Flaggies’ won every quarter on their way to a 10.9 (69) to 3.6 (24) triumph. Tiana Lush, Elizabeth Johnson and Piper Crosby kicked two goals each for the Falcons, while Lorelai Jeisman also kicked two goals for ‘Porties’. Best players for Flagstaff Hill included Crosby, Johnson, Chloe Meyers, Brooke Watson and Lush. Port Noarlunga was best served by Ella Harris, Nikki Parker, Zoe Flesfadar, MadisonHarris and Bree Chapman.
