Minor premier Reynella made their way through to the 2024 Southern Football League (SFL) Grand Final next Saturday after easily accounting for Happy Valley to the tune of 60 points in the preliminary final at Port Noarlunga today. The Wine Flies will now face reigning premier Flagstaff Hill in the decider. Reynella jumped out the blocks quickly to lead by 39 points at the first change and the game was as good as over. A further eight goals to five for the remaining three quarters saw the Wine Flies win 15.12 (102) to 6.6 (42). Callan Semple (4), Jake Agnew (3) and Dylan Roser (2) were the leading goalkickers for Reynella, while Harry Davenport kicked three majors for the Vikings. Best players for Reynella included Sam Whitbread, Lachlan McGuinness, Marc Borholm, Tyler Davies, Cameron Kirkland and Brayden Nicholls. Best for the Vikings were Sebastian Oliver, Harry Vick, Lachlan Hamilton, Dylan Strickland, Harry Spacie and Matthew Lillis.
