A man has been arrested following an incident on the Seaford Line train service yesterday.
At 6.10pm on Wednesday 2 October, two women travelling on the Seaford Line train were threatened and verbally abused by a male passenger unknown to them.
The suspect who boarded the train at Hallett Cove began abusing the women between the Noarlunga and Seaford Meadows train stations.
Further passengers came to the assistance of the women and were also threatened by the man. As the women left the train the man charged towards them brandishing a pocketknife.
Luckily no one was physically injured.
Following an investigation, a 38-year-old man from Old Noarlunga was arrested today, 3 October, and charged with two counts of aggravated unlawful threats and one count of affray.
He has been refused police bail and will appear before the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow, 4 October.
