A woman has been arrested in a stolen car at Aldinga Beach early this morning.

About 1.40 am on Wednesday 2 August, police were patrolling the Aldinga Beach area when they spotted a stolen black Nissan 300ZX in the driveway of a home on Hamilton Road.

The Nissan had been stolen from a Morphett Vale home on Monday night.

A person was in the driver’s seat and was about to reverse but the patrol was able to block it in and prevent them from driving off.

The driver, a 21-year-old Hackham woman, was arrested and charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle. She was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 11 September.
