Police are preparing a report for the Coroner following the death of a woman at Hindmarsh Valley this afternoon.

Police and paramedics rushed to a property on Lipizzaner Drive, Hindmarsh Valley just after 1pm on Friday 27 May by reports a woman had been injured in a fall from a horse.

Sadly, despite the efforts of paramedics, the 56-year-old Victor Harbor woman died at the scene.

Victor Harbor CIB detectives and Safework SA attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
