A woman has been reported for drink driving at Christies Beach last night.

About 5.15pm on Monday 26 August, police received a report of a Hyundai sedan driving erratically on Beach Road. The car was reported swerving and had almost mounted the footpath.

Police attended and located the vehicle still in the area.

The driver was breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.271, more than five times the legal limit.

A 60-year-old woman from Port Noarlunga South was reported for drink driving, issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence and her car was impounded. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
