Aldinga library will host the second in a series of family and local history winter workshops on Wednesday 28 July.

Presented by Onkaparinga Libraries and Willunga National Trust, the workshop on Trove and the State Library of South Australia will run from 10am to noon.

Participants will discover the wealth of information held in the online collections on Trove (National Library of Australia) and the State Library. 

They will explore digitized newspapers, photographs, South Australian Directories and more. 

The workshop is suitable for adults, who should take their own device, preferably a laptop, for hands on help with the resources covered in this session.

There is no cost but bookings are essential, via Eventbrite.

The third workshop, covering online genealogy resources, will be held at the library on Wednesday 25 August.
