Young people on the south coast can dance the night away at the next youth disco on Friday, 9 April.
The City of Victor Harbor Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) will host the disco, for young people aged 11+, from 8–10pm at the Victor Town Hall.
YAC has answered the call from the young people of the region for themed discos.
The committee decided on the theme ‘You Are the Canvas’ to support the ‘I See Me’ Youth Art Exhibition and has called on dancers to get creative and express themselves.
Refreshments, giveaways and great music are on offer, so kids should get their costumes designed and prepare their best dancing moves ready so they don't miss out.
DJ Roxy will crank the tunes and there will be heaps of fun giveaways throughout the night.
All YAC discos are lock in events, so parents must drop off and pick up children at the door.
This event is a supervised, alcohol-free and drug-free event for the young people of the southern Fleurieu.
The entry fee is $5 and tickets will be sold at the door. A canteen will be available with cheap drinks, chips and chocolates.
