Youth photography workshop on south coast

Budding photographers aged 14 to 25 can join a free photography workshop in Victor Harbor from 23 to 24 January.

Through the Lens – Storytelling through photography will be held at the Encounter Centre on Armstrong Road.

The two-day workshop offers beginners and those who want to advance their skills the chance to learn the craft of storytelling through image.

Skilled photographer Paul Bartlett will help to draw out people's stories and capture their essence through image.

All equipment will be provided, but participants can take their own camera or phone camera if they want to.

The workshop runs from 10am to 2pm on both days, with day one exploring all aspects of the camera and day two putting the skills learned into practice. Book a place via Humanitix.

As part of the Love the Journey project the workshop is supported by the City of Victor Harbor, Alexandrina Council, City of Onkaparinga and the Local Government Association of South Australia.

For more information contact the Community Development Officer - Children, Youth & Families at Alexandrina Council on 8555 7000 or by email.
