Yankalilla council will host a youth industry forum on Tuesday 21 September to provide information about school-based apprenticeships.

It will explain what is involved and how many hours of work versus school are required. 

A panel of educators and industry, as well a past trainee, will discuss the process and experience.

They will outline who takes care of the theory portion of the training and which industries are suitable to take on an apprentice. There will opportunities to ask questions.

The forum will be held at Club Fleurieu, 140 Main South Road Yankalilla, from 7pm.
