Victor Harbor based theatre group Zest is planning its next major production – Freaky Friday the New Musical - and now is the time to get involved.

An information night will be held on Tuesday 9 August at 7:30 at the Investigator College Performing Arts Centre in Bacchus Road Victor Harbor.

Come along to register your interest in being part of the production and learn about the roles (both on and off stage), audition and performance dates and rehearsal schedules.

There are a number of adult roles on offer as well as those for teens who are stage age 14-18.

Freaky Friday A New Musical is a contemporary update of the movies based on the 1972 novel Freaky Friday. When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies they have just 24 hours before mum’s big wedding to put things right again

The Zest Theatre Group also runs weekly drama workshops at the Performing Arts Centre every Monday night. Sessions for children from 8 years old to year 7 at school run from 5:15 to 6:15. Teens from year 8 onwards and adults attend from 6:15 to 7:15pm.

The cost is only $2 per session plus a $15 annual Zest membership fee.

They will also be running their annual Eisteddfod on 5 November with entries now open.
