The pageant will be held on Sunday 20 November at 10am and start at the corner of Beach Road and Hunt Crescent in Christies Beach.
The parade will head down Beach Road towards the Esplanade and finish with Christmas in the Park celebrations in Rotary Park.
Onkaparinga Council says now is the time to start dusting off the elves and register your entry before the cut-off date of 23 August.
Awards for the best effort, best entry, best children’s entry and best business and community groups entries will be on offer.
Entry is free but spaces are limited, and applications will be reviewed and selected based on their creativity, design and decoration ideas.
Successful applicants will be notified by Thursday 1 September.
This year will also mark the 90th anniversary of the Adelaide City Christmas Parade which will return on Saturday 12 November as a street parade for the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
