** Breaking **. Premier Steven Marshall has just conceded defeat in the state election


Early voting results on the Fleurieu

 

Finniss - David Basham is looking shaky, with modelling showing a swing of 18.3% against him.


First preference votes with 31% of the votes counted:

Liberal David Basham - 37.5%

Labor Amy Hueppauff - 23.4%

Independent Lou Nicholson - 22.4%

Greens Anne Bourne - 8.2%

One Nation Carlos Quaremba - 5.3%

Family First Dominic Carli - 2.7%

National Joe Ienco - 0.5%


The predicted two party preferred vote is 53.8% to Independent Lou Nicholson and 46.2% to Liberal David Basham


However, with a large number of postal and pre-poll votes cast this election, local results may not be known for some time.


Mr Basham previously held the seat with a 14.5% margin.
