Normanville will be the place to be on the Adelaide Cup long weekend.

For those who like a bit of exercise, there’s the Normy Fun Run, organised by the Yankalilla & District Lions Club.

The run will start from the Normanville Foreshore Jetty on Sunday morning.

A briefing will be held at 8.30 with the run starting at 9am.

Competitors can participate in either a 2.5km walk/run or a 5km walk/run.

Entrants must book prior to the event due to Covid restrictions by phoning the Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre 8558 0240 / 1300 965 842.

Random draws of mystery prizes will be announced after the completion of the fun run.

All for the cost of a gold coin donation on the day.

For those who like music the "Gig on the Green" is also happing at the Village Green Normanville next Sunday.

Music will be pumped out by the Shadows of Rock and admission is free. 

The "Gig on the Green" is a family friendly COVID safe event with entertainment, food stalls, and bar facilities and a whole lot of dancing from 4 - 7pm, Sunday 13 March.
