Information sessions on the proposed Hackham and Old Noarlunga rezoning and development will be held today and later this month.

The proposal could see 235 hectares of farmland, located opposite the end of the expressway, developed into around 2000 residential blocks and a retail centre.

211.5 Ha of the land is located in Hackham and 23.5ha in Old Noarlunga.

The government says it would address an immediate need for land supply.

Information sessions will be attended by staff from Renewal SA and Planning and Use Services in the Attorney-General’s Department.

Residents will be able to ask questions, view maps and find out how to make a submission on the proposal.

Information sessions to be held at the Old Noarlunga Institute:

Thursday 15 June – 12pm

Thursday 15 June – 4pm

Saturday 25 June – 1pm

Online sessions:

Thursday 7 July – 10am

Thursday 7 July – 3pm

Attendees should register via Eventbrite to attend a session.

Information about the proposed rezoning is available at PlanSA.
