The number of COVID-19 cases in the Alexandrina Council area has risen by at least 100 over three days, according to the SA Health COVID-19 heat map.
The region now has 288 active cases (recorded to midnight January 10) up from the 188 recorded to midnight on January 7.
The number of active COVID-19 cases elsewhere on the Fleurieu has also continued to rise.
There are now 141 recorded active cases in Victor Harbor, 54 on Kangaroo Island, 52 in the Yankalilla council area and 3126 within the City of Onkaparinga.
The number of new cases registered across the state yesterday dropped to 2921 as many testing facilities reduced their opening hours due to the heat.
Local stock of rapid antigen tests also remains limited.
The number of PCR tests conducted at official testing sites on Monday January 10 was 18 433.
This compares to 21 845 on Sunday January 9 and 23 478 on Saturday January 8.
The number of COVID-19 patients being treated in South Australian hospitals has risen by 32 in 24 hours to 211.
Twenty-two patients are in intensive care.
The drive-through testing facilities at Aldinga will again be impacted by the heat today.
The Clinpath site on Rowley Road will close at midday.
The SA Pathology site in Pridham Boulevard will open from 6am to 10.30am and then from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
