South Australia recorded 2552 new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours until midnight last night.
There are now 99 active cases in the Alexandrina council region, 26 in Victor Harbor, 11 in the Yankalilla District Council area, 1 115 in the Onkaparinga Council area and 16 on Kangaroo Island.
These localised numbers are taken from the SA Health COVID-19 heat map and were last updated at 2pm yesterday.
Premier Steven Marshall says there are now 94 COVID-19 patients in South Australian hospitals, including nine in intensive care.
Tourists have been undeterred by the spread of COVID-19, flocking to the Fleurieu and South Coast in large numbers over the long weekend.
The Victor Harbor SA Health vaccination clinic will finally reopen tomorrow after a 10-day closure over the holiday period.
The first available COVID-19 booster appointment at the clinic is on January 22.
Walk-in services are available, however queues are expected to be lengthy when the clinic first reopens.
Local pharmacies are also offering boosters and do have earlier appointments available.
Appointments can now also be made for children aged from 5 to 11. The first available children’s appointment at the SA Health clinic is on Friday 28 January.
Children under 12 will require two doses of the Pfizer vaccine, administered eight weeks apart.
