SA Health says get tested as new COVID case linked to Port Noarlunga

COVID-19 UPDATE

SA Health is urging all residents of the Onkaparinga Council area - including Port Noarlunga and Reynella - who have "any symptoms of COVID-19 whatsoever" to seek testing and isolate until they receive a negative result.

The warning is due to a new, and as yet, unlinked case of COVID-19.

The source of the infection is unknown but SA Health says the case spent time in the Port Noarlunga region.

SA Health says it is working to increase capacity in testing sites in the Onkaparinga area.

Statewide, SA Health reported four new cases of COVID-19 today.

Today’s cases are three men between the ages of 20 and 70 years old and one woman in her 30s.

Two cases are interstate travellers.

Anyone from the Onkaparinga area who is eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19 should roll-up and get vaccinated to protect themselves and the community.

Visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDcontacttracing for further instructions.

There have been 957 cases reported in South Australia to date.
