A popular Victor Harbor café has been identified as a COVID-19 close contact exposure location.
SA Health released a new list of exposure sites late on Friday night that included Nino’s Café in Victor Harbor.
Unvaccinated contacts who were at the café from 8.15pm to 9.15pm on Sunday 28 November must:
Immediately quarantine for 14 days since being at the location and get tested immediately. They must also get tested again on days 6 and 13.
Vaccinated contacts who were at the café during the exposure time must:
Immediately quarantine 7 days since being at the location and get tested immediately.
They must also get tested again on days 6 and day 13.
They must not attend high risk settings or COVID Management plan events for 14 days after exposure.
They must also wear a surgical mask when around others and avoid contact with vulnerable people.
They must also avoid non-essential activities where possible and avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing on days 8 to 14 after exposure.
There is a COVID testing site at the South Coast Hospital in Encounter Bay.
There are also drive-through testing facilities at Pridham Boulevard in Aldinga and on Beach Road at Christies Beach.

If you attended an exposure location, you are required to follow the relevant health advice.

Unvaccinated contacts
If you are unvaccinated and were at one of the above Close Contact exposure locations at the specified date and time, you must: immediately quarantine for 14 days since you were at the location, get tested immediately, get tested again on day 6 and day 13.
Vaccinated contacts
If you are vaccinated and were at one of the above Close Contact exposure locations at the specified date and time, you must: immediately quarantine for 7 days since you were at the location.
You must get tested immediately and get tested again on day 6 and day 13.
You must not attend high risk settings or COVID Management Plan events for 14 days after exposure.
You must wear a surgical mask when around others, avoid contact with vulnerable people, avoid non-essential activities where possible and avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing on days 8 to 14 after exposure.

If you were at one of the above Casual Contact exposure locations at the specified dates and times, you must: get tested immediately and quarantine until you receive a negative result.
You must also get tested again on day 6 and day 13.

You must also avoid non-essential activities where possible, avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing.
